Water Damage – Chicago Law Office

Water damage at this Chicago law office was caused by an overnight rupture in the main supply line to the bathroom. The before photo shows how the carpeting in the entire office was soaked. The staff had to cancel appointments for the day and call SERVPRO to come clean up the water. We moved the furniture and extracted as much of the water as possible. We then placed industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to speed up the drying process. We were able to dry the furniture, so none of it was lost. The drying equipment worked twenty-four hours, and they were able to see clients the next day on a limited basis. By the third day, everything was dry and back to normal.
